Not404 "dot com" is not Not404 "dot org" [Updated]

I've recently received a message from the operator of Not404 "dot org" and "dot net".  I have been assured that those alternative Not404 domains have an intended purpose and audience that is unique and distinct from my own efforts.  I'm glad to hear that.

According to the message, the domains will be used to mirror server content of sites that are temporarily paralyzed due to heavy traffic.  (to reduce the Slashdot/Digg effect the way Duggmirror and CoralCache work, I suppose).

I have unpublished my previous blog entry on the subject, and am eagerly waiting to see what kind of solution is deployed on those domains in the near future.
